
Hakim brings close to nine years of public healthcare experience from Yishun Health to his role at Revitalise. During his tenure, he worked across a broad spectrum of clinical settings including A&E, ICU, acute wards, community hospitals, and home therapy, giving him a well-rounded foundation in both acute and rehabilitative care. He has also extended his practice to nursing home and paediatric settings, allowing him to support clients across different stages of life. Hakim developed a deep specialisation in neurology, with a particular focus on Stroke Rehabilitation. His training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy further enhances his approach, helping clients identify patterns of thought and behaviour that may affect their recovery, and supporting them in making meaningful, lasting changes in their daily lives.Hakim believes that true rehabilitation goes beyond physical recovery. With his experience across various care settings, he brings a holistic perspective to each client, addressing not just the body but the whole person. He was awarded the Community Care Excellence Award for the Redesigning of Rehabilitation Roles in a COVID-19 Rehabilitation Facility, as well as the Silver Award for Community Care Excellence by AIC in 2025. With his leadership and coaching abilities, Hakim has also led his coaching and development team, which was recognised by NHG with the NHG Teaching Excellence Award. Outside the clinic, Hakim is a dedicated plant parent and terrarium builder. He also enjoys cooking and is passionate about a good cup of coffee.
